Abstract

We demonstrate stable microresonator Kerr solitons in an Al0.2Ga0.8As-on-insulator resonator thanks to cryogenic quenching of the thermorefractive effect. Reaching such a phase-stable state is a prerequisite to fully exploit the potential of this platform. (C) 2020 The Author(s)
