Neutral atom quantum computing

October 22, 2018 - 11:00am
Speaker:
David Weiss
Institution:
Penn State

I'll review the progress we have made at Penn State toward quantum computing with arrays of atoms in a 3D optical lattice. Among the topics I'll discuss are high fidelity (0.997) single qubit gates, achieving perfect site filling via Maxwell demon, and high fidelity (0.9994) state detection.
