Quantum Circuits Suitable for Experimental Realization of Walks
Quantum walks provide a flexible framework to simulate a variety of quantum processes that become more significant with the advent of simulators of increasing size and capability. There are two prominent ways the propagators for the walks are set up, namely the unitary operators that are a composition of rotations and projections and the Markov chain based evolutions. Directed quantum walk on graphs and more general Markov chains can be fashioned to entangle nodes as they evolve. In this talk we will review these propagators and look at few examples of quantum circuits that could accomplish these walks.
