JQI partnered with NIST for the three day festival, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in DC. The booth offered visitors fun demos on the Meissner effect, chemistry with dry ice, and other exciting activities. Scientific organizations, both public and private, gathered in the nearly one million square foot space in the lower levels of the convention center. JQI thanks all the NIST and UMD volunteers that made this event a success!
