JQI Theoretical Postdoctoral Fellowship Awarded

 Stefan Natu, incoming fellow

Stefan Natu, incoming fellow

Stefan Natu from Cornell University has recently been awarded the JQI Theoretical Postdoctoral Fellowship. Stefan is currently wrapping up his graduate work with Erich Mueller. While at Cornell he has collaborated with atomic physicist Brian deMarco’s group at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His graduate work has focused on ultracold quantum gases, which is also an active area of JQI research.

Previous/current JQI Theoretical fellows include Roman Lutchyn, Stephen Powell, Ryan Barnett, and Lev Bishop. In line with the mission of JQI, these fellows have chosen research that spans condensed matter and atomic physics, often working closely with experimental groups.
