Building a quantum network of room-temperature quantum devices
Progressing quantum technologies to room-temperature operation is an alternative to unlock the potential and economic viability of multi-device quantum architectures. In the first part of the talk, I will report on our recent progress towards building a prototypical quantum network consisting of four high fidelity warm vapor quantum memories.
In the second part, I will present our recent results regarding strong cross-phase modulation triggered by few-photon level light using a closed loop configuration in atomic vapor. These results pave the way towards implementing a fully deterministic quantum communication network.
