Introduction to Topological Quantum Computation
I will present a pedagogical introduction to topological quantum computation. I will discuss how topologically ordered materials can solve the quantum memory problem and can serve as a platform for fault-tolerant quantum computation. I will discuss several candidate systems including superconductors which exhibit Majorana fermions.
